Nathalie Mailhot - Speaking & Training Facilitator

“Working with Raelene has been an enlightening experience. Her gentle approach was paralleled with a no-nonsense approach when I faced difficult self-realizations. I appreciated the gentle push off the fence to put ME first in my world to be better for the other parts: family and business. She armed me with tools to delve into my creativity, be true to myself, and to remember my mission. Raelene shines with compassion and authenticity. She made me feel comfortable from the moment we met. I applaud her commitment to the process and the strategies she shared to help me evolve as a woman, mom, and entrepreneur!”

Raelene is amazing! Talk with her. She’s a great listener and if nothing else helped me open up about aspects of my life I’d told very few people about. Sometimes just talking to someone outside your family and social circle can bring you a new perspective and can be a first step in getting both your true self back as well as getting your life back on track. Raelene was a bright light when I was in the dark. There was no judgment and the conversation flowed so naturally. I would recommend that you talk to her even if you are unsure of what to say or where to begin. I did and I continue to reap the benefits. It could be that one conversation that gets you your life back.

Raelene’s unwavering support backed by her depth of knowledge and experience makes her the perfect choice when I am looking for a new perspective. As I’ve gotten to know her, she continues to impress me with her well-honed listening skills. She has the ability to grasp the salient morsels that are needed to move the agenda forward towards the desired goals and outcomes. Raelene articulates the feelings that I could not identify by myself. Raelene is the person you should call to get you going in the right direction.

Zubair Mumtaz, MBA  - Managing Director, Corporate Banking (Canada) at Bank of China, Toronto

I have been fortunate to have Raelene as my Executive Coach and continue to work with her in an ongoing capacity. My position as Managing Director, Corporate Banking at Bank of China (Canada) can be challenging and demanding and I reached out to Raelene during a particularly challenging period.  Raelene has the rare ability to assess the situation beyond the surface and get to the deeper issues that needed to be addressed. She helped me identify that my personal life needed to be addressed and worked on before I could look at reorganizing or changing my work environment. Her support, insight, and depth of knowledge have been invaluable to both my professional and personal life. Raelene is an incredible coach and leader. From my experience, she is the best in the business.

The Power of a Conversation - By Shannon S. Jones

Yesterday afternoon I had the pleasure once again to have a conversation with Raelene Bergen. While I felt we connected well in our first conversation, I had some second thoughts about how I may have "shown up" in that first video. I often have those "buyer's remorse" doubts, I'm gung ho to jump in, but afterward always questioning and unsure. This time around was very different. While the conversation began similarly I had my mindset in a certain direction, but it eventually took on a life of its own. Like in any good coaching session, things started to come up for me that I wasn't expecting, and while I did my best to tiptoe around those Raelene was very adept at seeing through my disguise and called me out.

As we pushed through the excuses and illusions I was dragging around we came to the core of what I needed to take the next step(s) forward. Funny thing, I was expecting something internal, that I needed to fix something within me like letting go of some childhood trauma, elevating my chakras, or being more aware of Self. Alas, while I lack confidence as a new coach, I need something quite practical...A PLAN! I don't need kundalini or Christ Consciousness, while there's nothing wrong with those or any other spiritual/emotional/psychological tools, I need to create a plan and get an accountability partner to help me stay on track with that plan. The first step in that plan I started yesterday evening by creating a template structuring my coaching process. From there I can develop a basic set of tools to implement the process while also using a description of my model as a marketing tool to attract some clients and begin beta-testing my process.

I've had conversations with about 2 dozen coaches over the past 5 years about who, what, when, and how, I needed to be and do to have the life I want and do this thing that I so desperately want to do called life coaching! Each one of those conversations left me doubting whether I had what it takes to be a good life coach until this one. Raelene was very supportive without selling out on me. She framed the work I needed to do perfectly with just one sentence, "I have to leave my emotions at the door because I've got work to do!". Let go of all the limiting beliefs, anxieties, feelings of Imposter Syndrome, unworthiness, and feeling lost and confused. Leave all that stuff at my office door because when I step inside that door and sit down at my desk - I've got work to do, and it's good work, noble work, work that someone needs which may not get done if I don't step up and DO IT! And that's where I leave you all, for now, because it's time for me to roll up my sleeves and get back to the work I have to do.
